Product default: D&D 5.5 (2024). Distances in feet (1 space = 5 ft). Not a full rules engine — DM adjudicating still wins.

· Prep happens in the design studio (library, wizard, inspector).
· Use Player POV in the studio to validate fog before going live.
· Open the live table when seats, fullscreen, and sync matter.

Async is phone-first: short midweek prompts. Live combat stays on the browser map. Hooks may be flavor, meaningful, or dm_secret — you resolve at session.
